From Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

  1. On the airport roadways, follow the signs for the exit to I-85 north (direction Atlanta).
  2. Follow I-85 north - I-85 will merge with I-75, and I-75/I-85 will lead into downtown Atlanta.
  3. Take exit 248C (Freedom Pkwy./A. Young Int'l Blvd.) and bear right onto the Freedom Parkway (Routes 10 and 42).
  4. After approximately a mile, the Freedom Parkway will divide - bear right onto the ramp to follow Rte. 42, East Freedom Pkwy.
  5. East Freedom Pkwy. dead-ends into Moreland Ave. Turn left onto Moreland Ave.
  6. Follow Moreland Ave. north through the intersection with Ponce De Leon Ave. - Moreland Ave becomes Briarcliff Rd.
  7. GeoVax is in the Emory West campus, approximately one mile north of Ponce De Leon on Briarcliff Rd. Look for a driveway with an Emory sign on the left - if you start to drive by a stone wall, then you have gone too far.
  8. Turn into the Emory West campus at the sign.
  9. Follow the driveway to the right - you will start to go down a hill. Look for Parking Lot C on the right.
  10. Park in Parking Lot C and walk into the modular building at the front.
