Dr. Ranganathan comes to GeoVax with over twenty years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He has held CMC leadership roles at big pharma and small biotech, including National Resilience, Athersys Inc, Zymeworks, Lundbeck Biopharmaceuticals, AGC Biologics, Merck & Co and Bayer. Dr. Ranganathan’s experience spans the full development lifecycle of biological products-from early development through to validation and CMC commercialization/licensure. Dr. Ranganathan has played a pivotal role in the CMC commercialization/licensure of multiple products, across modalities.

 

He holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Loyola University Chicago and a B.Sc in Microbiology from the Bangalore University, India..
